In Bandung, there are lots of houses built during the dutch occupation. We call them "dutch houses" and this is one of them. I sense that lots of memories come and go in this house, childhoods, grandparents, gatherings.. hmmm... i love bandung...
This one has more personal value. I walk this sidewalk for more than 4 years, so I took this shot.. I like it very much.. I hope you too.. Apperture priority, F = 5.6 ISO 100 Exposure: 1/50 sec
I went to Bandung last week and did some huntings. I walked around Jl. Aceh and Merdeka, and this is what I came up with. Mostly I used apperture priority with F around 5.6 - 6.3 and ISO 200-400. Enjoy...
The only shot I like from the hunting session in Stasiun Kota is this one.. called "an old bike"... But you probably thinking the other way around.. but that's OK. Everybody has different opinion, right?... :) cheers...
This photos were taken in "Stasiun Kota", an old train station in the center-north district of Jakarta. It wasn't as enjoyable as taking photos in the museum, but it was very challenging. Last time I shot using 14-42mm lens, but now I used 40-150mm lens, which was obviously a wrong decision to make because I couldn't get good photos. And so instead of showing the story of the station, I did candid camera. It was my first time doing candid, so I hope you like them...
Hi. Its me again. I hope you dont get borred. This afternoon I finally made it to "Kota", old town of Jakarta. The time was very limitted, so I went only to one place: Museum of Bank Mandiri. The pictures are in black n white because I think its representing the oldness of the building. The photos aren't very good, it was too dark or too bright, so I edit the contrast using Microsoft Picture. I hope that doesn't lower the value of the photos themselves, since I enjoy the process a lot. Cheers...
I took this photo in order to show contrast colour between the leaves and the sky. It showed better results than I thought, although the sky is not as blue... I use 40-150mm lens
Here is a photo of my daughter. She was hiding behind a sofa when I was trying to shoot her. She was trying to run away when I finally got this shot...
I took this during my trip with my family to Taman Safari, Bogor, Indonesia. This was fairly dark, so I adjust the shutter to a slower one. It took me about 10-15 clicks to get this photo. I enjoy looking at it, I hope you too...
Finally, I was able to go to Bunderan HI, Jakarta, the center of most business activities in Indonesia. The photos are taken between 8-9 am, and they show a little too much brightness, so I have to edit them. Still, I use e-510 with 14-42mm kit lens. I was amazed by the results... I hope u enjoy them as much as I do...
These photos are taken in my daughter's playgroup school. I use black n white because it adds more drama and contrast to the photos. I hope u like it...
Halo Everyone, This is my first time creating a photo blog. I just started to use Olympus E-510 about a month ago. The lenses I use is fairly simple: The kits, they are 14-42mm and 40-150mm. I am trying to implement what Mr. Rockwell said: "it's not the camera, it's the person". Well, maybe its also because the limited budget that I have... Please sit back, and relax.. Just enjoy the journey
